NCDSMO Certified XD Vision: Scalable Collaboration for the Modern Mission

NCDSMO Certified XD Vision: Scalable Collaboration for the Modern Mission

In our previous blog, “Enhancing Coalition Collaboration with Scalable Cross Domain Solutions,” we discussed the growing necessity for secure, real-time data sharing across varying classification levels and coalition partners, especially as multi-domain operations (MDO) become central to modern defense strategies.

Today, we’re excited to provide a significant update: our scalable enterprise cross domain solution (CDS), XD Vision v1.0.0.5, has successfully passed Lab Based Security Assessment (LBSA) testing and is now certified by the U.S. Government’s National Cross Domain Strategy and Management Office (NCDSMO) and awaiting listing on NCDSMO Baseline.

Achieving a passing result in LBSA testing is a major milestone for any cross domain solution as LBSA is a rigorous, months-long process where the solution is evaluated against a comprehensive set of functional and security assurance criteria. This process includes penetration testing, compliance with the latest “Raise the Bar” (RTB) standards, and validation against guiding risk frameworks. XD Vision is the only voice & video Cross Domain Solution that meets the certification standards of the NCDSMO for secure, multi-domain collaboration.

XD Vision: Scalable, Secure, and Mission-Ready

XD Vision enables enterprise-scale management of multi-domain operations by serving as a centralized, secure hub for real-time collaboration across numerous classified and coalition networks. It supports concurrent point-to-point and multi-party conference calls, seamlessly handling voice, video teleconferencing (VTC), full-motion video (FMV), and structured data (XML) across at least 12 domains with federation. The platform is engineered to connect streams from networks operating at different security classification levels, managing, filtering, and routing all cross-domain communications and data with robust policy enforcement. This scalability allows XD Vision to support hundreds of high-definition video calls and thousands of audio calls simultaneously, making it ideal for large-scale surveillance and intelligence operations where some data must be selectively withheld or redacted based on mission needs.

Advanced features such as geofencing enable XD Vision to enforce blackout regions for data, blocking the sharing of video imagery from sensitive GPS coordinates to comply with operational security requirements. Centralized administration and remote management capabilities allow system administrators to configure policies, manage users, monitor audit logs, and perform system backups from a single secure interface, significantly reducing the need for multiple classified phone systems and hardware throughout a facility. This not only streamlines operations and enhances compliance but also reduces overall SWaP (size, weight, and power) and budget requirements. In high-security environments XD Vision ensures that camera feeds are securely streamed to high-side networks for real-time analysis-while enforcing content filtering to protect against compromise, delivering unmatched operational efficiency and security at scale.

XDVision in Action: Global Multi-Domain Operations

Consider a joint operation where warfighters, intelligence analysts, and coalition partners must coordinate in real time across land, air, and cyber domains. XD Vision acts as the secure hub, enabling seamless voice and video communications, live FMV feeds from unmanned systems, and structured data sharing-all while ensuring compliance with each domain’s security policies. When mission requirements shift, XD Vision’s scalable architecture allows rapid integration of new domains or data types, without extensive reconfiguration or downtime.

XD Vision was purpose-built to address the critical challenges of secure multi-domain collaboration faced by defense, intelligence, and coalition partners.

  • For tactical environments, our V2CDS solution offers a lightweight, point-to-point option for secure voice and video calls-ideal for forward-deployed units or rapid response teams.
  • When hardware-enforced security is paramount, XD Bridge ST delivers high-assurance, diode-based data transfer between systems of differing security levels, with flexible filtering and minimal administration.

Together, these solutions enable a layered, mission-tailored CDS architecture that supports both enterprise-scale and tactical operations.
