Ridgefield, CT, Sept. 12, 2017 — Owl Cyber Defense Solutions, LLC (“Owl”), the market leader in data diode network cybersecurity solutions, recently welcomed U.S. Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04) to its headquarters. While onsite, Rep. Himes toured the facility and sat down with Owl management to discuss the current state and future of cybersecurity in Connecticut and the U.S. federal government.

Rep. Himes took in a detailed briefing on Owl’s cybersecurity technology and the ways it is currently in use today to protect the networks of various U.S. government agencies.
“It was great to be able to share with the Congressman some of the details about Owl’s product line, our recent developments, and how the technology is in use today,” noted Sal Morlando, COO of Owl.
In addition to his briefing with Owl’s product team, Rep. Himes also took time to answer some questions from Owl employees and give his take on a number of cybersecurity issues facing the state of Connecticut and the country as a whole.
