Go Back A Comprehensive Framework for Zero Trust & Cross Domain Security
Meet the Speaker

Michael Blake
This presentation describes how cross domain solutions are a Zero Trust Architecture enabling technology securing that enables sharing data and services at the micro-segmentation boundary to untrusted devices, networks, or nations.
While some have proposed zero trust as a replacement for cross domain solutions, current guidance and requirements show that such a view is misguided especially when there are unmanaged devices in play. In this session, we will lay out a synergistic approach that leverages the strengths of both while incorporating best practices in network security across the highest areas of risk. Zero trust’s granular access controls and continuous monitoring complement cross domain solutions’ robust separation and data flow controls, providing a comprehensive security posture that is resilient against sophisticated threats. In this way, we will demonstrate how an integrated strategy ensures data integrity, confidentiality, and availability across secure, diverse, and dynamic environments.
