XD Matrix

XD Matrix is an innovative, scalable, hardware-enforced security appliance that aggregates, enforces one-way flow, and filters packets using revolutionary FPGA-based technology.

Overview

Multiple Domains → One Solution

XD Matrix’s scalable configuration can aggregate up to 32 input data flows at up to 1 GbE into 2 to 8 output data flows at up to 10 GbE. The unique combination of hardware-based flow enforcement and packet filtering satisfies the DoD requirement to aggregate multiple distinct data flows while also meeting MITRE’s D3FEND Network Isolation tactics through Broadcast Domain Isolation and Outbound Filtering techniques.

Key Features:

  • Package multiple (8 or more) independent OWT connections in a single rack-mounted (1U) appliance
  • Modular design enables scalable OWT connections (options for 8, 16, 24 or 32 ports) to suit requirements
  • Common administrative interface to simplify large-scale operations without compromising the independent data paths
  • Each input channel enforces one-way transfer of TCP and UDP packets.

Hardware-Based Performance

FPGA-based packet processing enables:

  • Vastly superior speed and up to 99% lower latency
  • Ability to process entire Ethernet frames at once
  • Parallel processing to evaluate many bytes on a single clock
  • Hardware-based packet filtering and flow enforcement
  • Dramatically reduced SWaP-C requirements

Meets RTB & CSfC Requirements

XD Matrix is a unique hardware-enforced OWT security solution for organizations looking to meet or exceed current RTB and CSfC requirements. Leverage next-generation, FPGA-based packet filtering and flow enforcement, and proven secure platform management capabilities to securely collect and aggregate logs, files, or other system data from up to 32 domains while maintaining a strict, hardware-enforced network segmentation.

Data Aggregation Technologies

Network owners are struggling with managing terabytes of device-generated data and status reports. Aggregating data is an emerging approach that enables cyber threat hunting, network performance analyzing, and other functions so essential for maintaining the integrity of large, complex data ecosystems. Aggregating data with an appliance that delivers a hardware-based security guarantee is best practice.
