Owl Cyber Defense Announces Move to New Headquarters to Support Rapid Growth

Danbury, CT -December 6, 2018 – Owl Cyber Defense Solutions, LLC (“Owl”), the market leader in data diode network cybersecurity solutions, announced today the company’s headquarters is moving from 38A Grove Street in Ridgefield, CT to a much larger space at 42 Old Ridgebury Road in Danbury, CT 06810. The move comes as the company has overseen a year of the largest growth in the company’s history.

“We’re enormously excited to be moving to our new headquarters,” said Mike Timan, Owl CEO. “It’s frankly overdue, as we’ve been growing faster than our current building could keep up with. The new facility is amazing and will support Owl’s continued growth as we execute on our long-term strategic plan.”

The new world-class facility features advanced development labs, secure facilities for government projects, is nearly double the size and offers additional space for future expansion. Since parent organization DC Capital purchased Owl, the company has grown aggressively, taking advantage of the increased demand for its hardware-enforced cybersecurity.

“We have been anxiously awaiting this move,” stated Owl COO Sal Morlando. “Our recent growth has put us in a position where we needed to significantly expand capacity to meet increased production demands. We are looking forward to using this new space to drive Owl’s next phase of growth and evolution.”

As a part of its current growth strategy, Owl is also increasing its presence in international markets with new hires in multiple regions and is planning a number of new product introductions in 2019.

“We anticipate the market will respond very positively to the new products we have planned for 2019,” confirmed Scott Coleman, Director of Marketing and Product Management. “These planned releases address security needs for both the Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud-based services.”

The ever-increasing cyber threats against digital assets and the growing market demand for better, more secure cybersecurity has translated into very strong demand for Owl’s data diode in both 2018 and looking ahead into 2019.
