Overview

High Capacity Stream and File Transfer

It also supports customers that need or require physical security separation between the source and destination environments.  It includes two separate servers, each with an Owl patented hardware-enforced one-way transfer diode and Owl’s Multi-Protocol Platform (MPP) CDS software platform.  Owl’s CDS-MPP software is designed to address RTB Composed COTS (CCOTS) CDS design pattern. These two servers are linked through fiber optic cable and Owl’s patented hardware-enforced, one-way transfer diodes, that support dataflow bandwidth up to 10Gbps for UDP and TCP content streaming and file transfers.

Key Features

The CDS-MPP software is based on a STIG compliant, CLIP enforced, EAL4+ Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) foundation.  It’s capable of scanning and file validation filtering to ensure only authorized content is transferred by the dataflows. Each COTS 1U server processing environment is separated by an Owl patented hardware-enforced, one-way transfer diode.  These combined technologies provide dataflow protection for the highest threat environment connections.

  • Latency -3ms to 8ms depending on filter
  • UDP-based data streaming and TCP-based file transfers or data streams
  • Up to four dataflow types: Filtered files, non-filtered TCP streams, Filtered UDP unicast and multicast streams, UDP broadcast
  • RFTS, FTP, TCP/UDP Sockets, SFTP
  • Upgradeable to Owl’s CDS-CION software, when available, for RTB compliance
